Satyabrata Roy received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in CSE from the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology), and KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, respectively. He has completed his Ph. D. from Manipal University Jaipur in the area of lightweight security for IoT applications.  He is an enthusiastic and motivating technocrat with more than 10 years of research and academic experience at different reputed institutes. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur. His major research interests include cryptography, cellular automata, chaotic maps and quantum computing. He has published many research papers in referred journals and international conferences. Currently he is supervising four research scholars at Manipal University Jaipur. He is also working as reviewer for several reputed International Journals. He has served as member of technical program committee of many international conferences and symposiums. He has organized many international conferences, FDPs and Workshops. He has served as resource person of many FDPs and seminars. He is a senior member of IEEE and professional member of ACM.
