| Biography: Vasily Semenov was born in 1944 in Yakutia, Russia. He is a Doctor of Sciences (Engineering). Full Professor. Honorary Academician of Academia of name the K.E. Tsiolkovsky. Professor of the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University). V. Semenov – the highly qualified professional in the theoretical and practical fields of liquid propellant rocket engines and applied gas dynamics, in particular, in the regulation of the high-altitude of the rocket nozzle. He published about 200 scientific papers, including 76 inventions. V. Semenov, proposed to equip the rocket nozzle with a high-altitude extension, solved the scientific and technical problems of designing rocket engine nozzles with altitude compensation.
