| Biography: Currently, he works as a professor at the College of Engineering/Civil Engineering Department at the University of Thi-Qar in Iraq. He graduated from Hohai University, Nanjing, China in 2009. His doctoral research was performed in the Geohohai Research Institute. His current research interests are in enhancing the bearing capacity of building foundations intended to be constructed in Nasiriya soil using a shallow and pile foundations. Moreover, he seriously works on quantifying the statistical characteristic of soil in Nasiriyah and reliability analysis and design of shallow and deep foundations utilizing Monte Carlo simulation and the probability distribution. He also has several projects on the sustainability by using waste materials as building materials, soil improvement using cement and lime. He started with a project to write a local code for the reliability-based design in geotechnical engineering. He contributed in many international conferences and have many research papers in geotechnical engineering, worked as reviewer for many reputed journals and chairman and member of scientific committees for postgraduate students and promotions committees for lecturers. He worked as a consultant engineer in many projects. He also worked as a member of editorial board of journals. He is Interesting in scientific reviewing for papers and theses. | |
